What is it like to have an experience with Avedon?
THE INSPIRATION (YOU)
Book your perfect date and time: The first step in your Avedon portrait experience is to book your perfect date and time for your Photography Session. This is all done online and is quick and easy! We will send you a confirmation email but don’t be concerned if you are not sure of location at that stage – we can sort this in your Planning Meeting.
Book your Planning Meeting: Your planning meeting is an exciting step where we dive deeper into what your perfect Portrait Experience will look like and how we we’ll make it happen – the nitty gritty. This meeting happens via a phone call (I call you) and we ask that you allow about half an hour for our chat.
Fill out your Quick Fire Questionnaire: We will send you an online questionnaire to fill out prior to your Planning Meeting. This gives us a hint of who is in your family and what you are wanting from your Portrait Session. We will go through this in more detail during our chat.
THE CRAFT (US)
Your Portrait Session: Our portrait sessions are jam-packed with activities, fun and laughter. It’s a hive of activity for the entire 45 minutes as I keep everyone moving, motivated and entertained. There will be no awkward pauses or poses…just real moments of love, laughter, connection and affection with your favourite people and pets. No need to be nervous, you will be surprised at how easy it is. And before you even realise, the session is done, and you have some of the most precious memories to display in your home. Before you head home you will get to see some of our fine art products – it’s always best to have a peek and see what they feel like in your hands. We will also book in your Reveal + Design Session which is usually 2-3 days later.
THE FINE ART
Reveal + Design Appointment: Our Reveal + Design sessions are held over Zoom. You get to enjoy your favourite comfy chair while you sip on a hot cup of tea or a delicious gin (which ever you prefer) and enjoy your personally designed slideshow – we love designing slideshows for our Avedon clients, it’s our absolute favourite thing to do! From here we can design any kind of artwork to best suit your home. It is at this time that you order and pay for your artwork and we ask that all decision makers attend this appointment. Remember – you only buy what you absolutely LOVE.
Artwork Delivery: Your artwork will be ordered when all payment is completed. We ask that you allow 4-6 weeks for your artwork to be delivered to our Studio. After your artwork has passed our eagle eye inspection for utmost quality, it is then ready for you to pick up for you to add these beautiful memories to your home.
